Dr Alan Farrell
Dr Alan Farrell is a Sports and Exercise Medicine Physician who has both an undergraduate degree and an MSc in Sports and Exercise Medicine from Trinity College Dublin. After initial training in General Practice, he chose to focus exclusively in Professional Sport and High Performance Medicine and has worked with World Class athletes in Professional Cycling and Professional Rugby. Alan has worked with the Irish National Rugby Sevens Programme for the last 5 years, has worked with Connacht Rugby and now works as an Independent Match Day Doctor in both Club and International Rugby Union.
Alan has a passion for both Sports Medicine as well as Metabolic Health and has a keen focus on the measuring and tracking of key biomarkers in the prevention and treatment of Chronic Disease.
